If you cannot reach us for some reason and you are concerned, see your GP or Optometrist for urgent review, or present to the emergency department of your nearest public hospital for attention.

For post-operative patients, you will be given an information sheet after your operation: emergency contact numbers and instructions are printed on this sheet.

Please note we are unable to give medical advice via email or the web. You should contact your GP or Optometrist for a referral to see us, and we will be happy to assist: it is a Medicare requirement to have a referral to see an eye specialist
